As a kid, I played a lot of "Dune II, the Building of a Dynasty". It was one of the first real time strategy games I ever played and it left a big impact on me. Through this game, I immersed myself in the books by Frank Herbert, as well as the films (though my parents wouldn't let me see all of it so young, haha!). When I grew older, I found a synth on the Reason Rack that reminded me of that classic Dune II sound and I wanted to make a song that paid homage to this game that I loved so much!
