The creator of the game "Burn the Witch", James Fazio, hired me to create an epic soundtrack to go along with the game. More tracks can be unlocked if you back the Kickstarter!
What is Burn the Witch?
Paranoia, hysterics, and pyromania fuel this democratic game of burn or be burned; a social deduction game for 5-15 players ages 14+.
Step back in time to a dark period in human history when frenzy and paranoia dominated peoples’ perception of ‘the other’, driving communities all throughout Europe to take the most extreme measures against their fellow man… or woman, as history would have it.
"Burn the Witch" is a party game of social deduction designed for five to fifteen players, divided into two factions pitted against one another in their bid for survival. Players represent houses, comprised two to four villagers, seeking to advance the cause of either the witches or the zealots. With witches constituting a minority of the village, their only chance for survival is dependent on their ability to employ cunning and misdirection as they seek to outwit the rest of their community, and turn their neighbors’ paranoia and pyromania back onto themselves.
The game typically runs 60-120 minutes and concludes when the villagers have either enkindled every living witch or else have condemned enough villagers to the stake that the zealots no longer hold a majority, at which point the witch-hunt is brought to a close—the witches win.
lyrics
Was ist das hier?
Wer seid ihr hier?
Was wollt ihr da?
Wer schlich sich ein?
Die Feuerpein
Euch ins Gebein!
(nog niet de tune geschreven):
Du mußt verstehn!
Aus Eins mach’ Zehn,
Und Zwei laß gehn,
Und Drei mach’ gleich,
So bist Du reich.
Verlier’ die Vier!
Aus Fünf und Sechs,
So sagt die Hex’,
Mach’ Sieben und Acht,
So ist’s vollbracht:
Und Neun ist Eins,
Und Zehn ist keins.
Das ist das Hexen-Einmal-Eins!
